Simple Peach Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 1 (20 oz) can sliced peaches, drained (or whatever fruit you wish to use)
  • 5 slices white bread
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Place fruit in an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  3. Cut the crust off the bread and cut each slice into 5 strips.
  4. Place bread strips over the peaches.
  5. In a medium bowl mix sugar, flour, egg, and margarine. Blend well and pour over the bread strips.
  6. Bake at 350 for 35 - 45 minutes or until golden brown.
