13 frosting great for Recipes

yellow cake mix or cake mix of your choice (regular size), vanilla frosting, divided, orange paste food coloring, green gumdrops, green paste food coloring

semisweet chocolate morsels, orange liqueur (i have used raspberry or any flavor liqueur you like. or an extract instead), prepared chocolate frosting, candy sprinkles or coconut (plain or toasted) or cocoa or ground nuts (great with ground pistachios)

sugar, butter (softened no substitutions), cake flour, salt, eggs, vanilla, crushed oreo cookies (do not even think of using reduced fat or those ones that are already crushed up!), vanilla frosting (betty crocker works great!)

cream cheese, butter, room temp, icing sugar (confectioners), lemon rind

confectioners sugar sifted roughly 3-1/2 cups, butter at room temperature (1 stick) (margarine will make a much softer frosting not great for decorating), salt, pure vanilla extract, pure almond extract, liquid - milk preferred - but water works great too., cocoa (i ve tried the 3 oz squares of melted unsweetened chocolate - but really prefer the dried to melted chocolate which made a mess and screwed up the proportions of liquid measurements), equipment needed : mixmaster such as kitchen-aid or hand mixer. couple of bowls. sieve to sift sugar, 1 cake readying themselves to be covered with delicious-tasting chocolate frosting and peeps to lick the beaters (yourself included, of course)

butter, sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, cocoa, vanilla, coconut (optional), nuts (pecans, almonds or wal )

jello cheesecake flavor instant pudding and pie filling, cream cheese, vanilla, cold milk, powdered sugar, cool whip, thawed (small)

unsalted butter room temperature, sugar, eggs, cocoa, salt, vanilla, buttermilk, cake flour, white vinegar, baking soda, cream cheese filling and frosting , recipe follows, cream cheese at room temperature, unsalted butter at room temperature, powdered sugar, vanilla, make sure the oven is preheated to correct temperature., always level cakes before stacking them ., make sure the cakes have cooled completely to room temperature before frosting., check icing to be sure it is very smooth., try a variety of different decorating tips available at craft and specialty stores to create interesting effects with your icing., practice using your pastry bags before you attempt writing on your cake, melted chocolate is great to write with.

cake, white cake mix , with pudding, water, oil, egg whites, lemon pie filling (15.75 oz), lemon creme frosting or any lemon frosting, cool whip, thawed, alternate topping, if you can tsp find the lemon frosting (which i can tsp anymore), use vanilla frosting and some of the lemon pie filling (there should be some left) with the cool whip....it works great
