Sauteed Hot Peppers Greek Style

Ingredients:

  • 1/8 cup olive oil

Directions:

  1. Rinse 10 peppers well (do not put your fingers into eyes when preparing!)
  2. *Do not lob off ends, leave whole, as is
  3. Heat olive oil in medium sized skillet & add whole peppers.
  4. Watch carefully, turning after 2-3 minutes
  5. Cook on other side, for 2-3 minutes.
  6. You don't want them to burn, but the outer skin should be golden.
  7. Carefully remove from skillet & drain on paper towels.
  8. Place on plate & sprinkle w/T vinegar & salt, as desired.
  9. When eating these hot delights, cut the stem end & seeds off & eat with caution!!
