Ingredients:

  • 1 (750 ml) bottle bordeaux wine
  • 1/3 cup simple syrup (1part sugar , 1part water)
  • 1/4 cup cognac
  • 1/4 cup creme de cassis
  • 7- up, soda if desired

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients except the 7-Up in a large glass or ceramic container; stir well.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  3. Serve over ice; top with 7-Up, if desired and garnish with additional strawberries.
