Saltine Cracker Candy Crunch

Ingredients:

  • 1 sleeve (about 24) saltines (i use a little more)
  • 3/4 cup. brown sugar
  • 1 cup. butter
  • 12 oz.(2cup.) chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 deg. Line a cookie sheet with foil.Spray foil lightly with cooking spray.Cover foiled cookie sheet with crackers in one layer.Boil brown sugar and butter for 3 minutes on stove.Pour over crackers and spread evenly.Bake at 400 deg. for 5 minutes.Remove from oven.Sprinkle with chocolate chips.Let set one minute, then spread with spatula.Sprinkle with nuts, and press down lightly.Cool.Refrigerate, then break up into pieces. Keeps a long time in refrigerator.
