Roasted Peanut Carmel Tart

Ingredients:

  • for the tart
  • i refrig pie crust pressed into a 10 x 4 in tart pan with a removeable bottom
  • for the filling
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tlsp of white sugar
  • 3 tlsp of honey
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • preheat oven at 350

Directions:

  1. Combined the first 4 ingredients, in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer ,
  2. Stirring over med heat for about 4 mins – or until candy thermometer reads 240 or 245
  3. Remove from heat and add cream, stir to blend , then add the nuts and blend toughly and coat well
  4. Pour into the tart pan and spread evenly – bake at 350 for 15 to 25 mins or until crust is brown – let cool completely
