Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Rinse tomatillos, cover with water, bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 10 minutes until tomatillos have changed color
  2. Drain water. Put tomatillos, salt, garlic and serrano pepper in blender; blend to desired consistency (note: pepper seeds will add heat to salsa)
  3. Add 1/4 cup diced onion, 3-4 tablespoons chopped cilantro
