Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp shortening
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Blend shortening, sugar, & egg.
  2. Separately mix salt, flour, baking powder, & milk.
  3. Alternately add milk and dry mixed ingredients to shortening, sugar & egg mixture.
  4. Put on greased cookie sheet.
  5. Sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon.
  6. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes.
