Quick Biscuits Dated 1944

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 2/3 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. In mixing cup combine cooking oil and milk then add all at once to flour mixture.
  3. Stir just to clean sides.
  4. Knead 10 times then roll out 1/2 thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
  5. Bake at 450 for 11 minutes.
