Potato And Onion Soup

Ingredients:

  • 125 ml butter or margarine (1/2 cup)
  • 4 big potatoes, peeled ,cut into thin slices
  • 12 ml cake flour (1 tbsp)
  • 250 ml water (1 cup)
  • 500 ml milk (2 cups)
  • 10 ml salt (2 tsp)

Directions:

  1. Fry the onions in the butter while stirring.
  2. Add the potatoes.
  3. Stirr in the flour gradually until everything is golden brown.
  4. Stirr in the water, milk and salt.
  5. Cook until the potatoes is soft.
  6. Mash.
  7. Serve.
