Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz) can poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour, plain

Directions:

  1. Sift flour, salt & soda together set aside.
  2. Cream butter & sugar.
  3. Add egg yolks.
  4. Add sour cream.
  5. Add poppyseeds.
  6. Add flour,salt & soda.
  7. Beat egg whites til stiff.
  8. Gently fold in egg whites.
  9. Bake 1 hour at 300º in bunt pan.
