Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs sugar
  • 3 pints vinegar
  • 1 tsp cayenne (or chilli , don'tsp overdo it!)
  • 1 tbsp salt (maybe a tsp)
  • 1 tbsp mixed spice
  • 1 tbsp whole cloves (can put in muslin bag)

Directions:

  1. Boil all ingredients together until stones separate (not long)
  2. Strain through sieve and bottle when cold.
