Pizza Bread....mmmm!!!!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1/3 cup pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Grease loaf pan.
  3. Sift the flour,bk pwdr into lg bowl. Stir in oregano,garlic salt and sugar. Set aside.
  4. Cut pepperoni into small pieces place in a bowl and mix with tomato sauce and cheeses.* you can use cheddar if you prefer. Set aside.
  5. Microwave butter to melt and cool to lukewarm. Use a whisk to mix the milk and eggs into the melted butter. Pour the butter mixture over the flour mixture and stir just until moistened. Don't overmix.
  6. Pour the pepperoni mix on top and stir in streaks through the batter. Don't mix completely. Place batter in loaf pan. Spread out evenly.
  7. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until top is puffed and golden. I bake for 50 minutes.
