  1. In a tightly covered jar,shake dressing mix,vinegar and water.
  2. Add oil,sugar,garlic and red pepper sauce,shake to mix.
  3. Stir in onion rings and mushrooms.
  4. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
