Pecan Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 3/4 cup. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup. toasted pecan pieces

Directions:

  1. Toast pecans on broil setting 5min, remove set aside.
  2. Combine first 4 ingredients beat on med. speed til well blended. With wooden spoon stir in flour, salt and pecans. Roll dough out on floured surface 1/4in. cut dough 2in. round cookie cutter. Place on baking sheet and chill 30min then bake at 350 F; 15 min.
