Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In large bowl, mix butter and sugar until well mixed.
  3. Add vanilla and eggs, mix well.
  4. In separate bowl,mix together dry cake ingredients and add to egg mixture. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour cake batter into greased and floured 10 tart or springform pan.
  6. Layer pear slices, cut side down, pressing slightly, onto cake batter.
  7. In medium bowl, mix all topping ingredients together until crumbly. Sprinkle over pears and batter.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 35 to 50 minutes or until center of cake bounces back when lightly touched.
  9. Cool for 15 minutes and remove from pan.
