Peanut Butter Nanaimo Bars

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Whisk together butter, sugar and eggs.
  2. Add crumbs, coconut, peanuts and cocoa powder-mix thoroughly.
  3. Press into greased 9x13 pan.
  4. Bake 350 until firm (12 to 15 minutes).
  5. Let cool.
  6. FILLING:.
  7. Over medium heat, melt peanut butter and butter til smooth.
  8. Take off heat and add sugar 1 cup at a time.
  9. Add milk, stir until smooth.
  10. Spread onto cooled base and chill until firm,about 1 hour.
  11. TOPPING:.
  12. Melt the choclate and butter in a bowl over a sauecpan of hot water.
  13. Spread ontop of filling.
  14. Sprinkle with nuts.
  15. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours.
