Ingredients:

  • 2 cup. sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cu p. p. butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

  1. Pour sugar and milk into sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Check for softball stage while ingredients are boiling.
  4. Once you have reached the softball stage cont to boil for 2.5 minutes.
  5. Remove from burner and add p.butter and vanilla.
  6. Stir vigorously to blend ingredients. You will notice that fudge will lose its glossyness.
  7. Pour into well buttered pan. I prefer to use my glass pie plates. It will set up in about 2 hours, but I tend to sneak a taste after about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
