Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp butter

Directions:

  1. In saucepan cook and stir sugar, milk and water slowly until sugar dissolves. Then boil slowly stirring occasionally until candy reaches soft ball stage (about 236 degrees)
  2. Cool at room temperature without stirring until just warm.
  3. Add peanut butter, vanilla and butter and beat until candy holds its shape. Turn into butter greased pan or casserole dish and when cool cut into squares.
