Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Bars

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 3/4 cups nestle toll house semisweet chocolate chunks

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine flour and baking soda in small bowl. Beat brown sugar, peanut butter, and granulated sugar in large mixer until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chunks. Press into ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan, distributing chunks evenly.
  3. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
