Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (12 oz) box corn flakes (about 8 cups)

Directions:

  1. In a large saucepan, mix sugar and corn syrup and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil for 1 minute.
  2. Remove from heat and blend in peanut butter.
  3. Add cornflakes, stirring gently to coat.
  4. Working quickly, drop mixture in 1/4 cup lumps, 2 apart onto countertop lined with waxed paper.
  5. Using fingers, shape each cookie into rounded mound as necessary.
  6. Let stand at room temp for 20-30 minutes to set.
  7. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
