  1. Soak raisins in 1 cup hot water for ten minutes. Drain raisins.
  2. And reserve 1/3 cup raisin liquid. Mix flour, baking soda, salt.
  3. Cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in a bowl. Cream sugar and butter.
  4. In another bowl. Mix in 1/3 cup raisin liquid. Blend in eggs and.
  5. Vanilla. Slowly add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Stir inches.
  6. Oatmeal. Stir in walnuts. Stir in raisins. Drop by heaping.
  7. Tablespoon (or a small scoop) onto a cooking oil sprayed cookie.
  8. Sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-20 minutes or until.
