Ingredients:

  • 4 cups mulberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 tbsp shortening
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Place mulberries in a 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice.
  3. Cream shortening and brown sugar.
  4. Blend in flour and oatmeal; spread over berries.
  5. Bake in 325 degree Fahrenheit oven for 35 minutes.
