Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp cream

Directions:

  1. Put poppy seeds and milk in small bowl.let stand 30 bine butter,sugar and egg in bowl.beat.add second egg and lemon juice.beat until smooth.stir in poppy seed mixture.measure flour,baking powder,salt in a small bowl.mix well.bake in 350F oven for 1 hour.Pour glaze over top.cool 10 minutes before removeing from pan to cool.
