  1. In large bowl beat butter with 1 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. In separate bowl, mix together flour, baking.
  4. Powder and salt.
  5. Stir into butter mixture until combined.
  6. In small bowl,.
  7. Mix together 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  8. Shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in cinnamon mixture.
  9. Place 2 inches apart on lightly buttered.
  10. Baking sheets.
  11. Press nut into top of each ball.
  12. Bake at 350ºF oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden on bottom.
