Mom's Chocolate Pie Filling

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 stick butter plus
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 dash(es) salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix yolks together with sugar and cocoa over low heat. Add salt and flour to make a paste. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Add butter and mix until melted and thickened. Add vanilla last.
