Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup margarine
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • nuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Cream margarine, shortening and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add soda, salt and flour. Stir in chocolate chips. Roll into balls or use a cookie scoop and place on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for about 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
