Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 2/3 cup water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven- 350°.
  2. Butter and flour 2 9x5 loaf pans.
  3. Stir together sugar and oil.
  4. Stir in eggs and pumpkin.
  5. Combine dry ingredients in a bowle.
  6. Blend dry and water into wet mixture
  7. (1/3 dry then 1/2 water the another 1/3 dry, so on).
  8. Separate between two loaf pans
  9. Bake 30-40 min or till cake tester comes out clean.
  10. Let stand 10 minute.
  11. Remove from pans and cool.
