Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sifted flour
  • 6 medium tart apples
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Creram butter, add brown sugar and flour gradually. Mixture will crumble. Pare and slice apples in a buttered 1 quart casserole, dribble molasses over apples along with cinnamon and salt. Crumble flour mixture over apples. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Serve with ice-cream.
