Ma's Apple Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 -15 slices apples

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and 2T of sugar.
  2. Cut in the butter with a fork.
  3. Add chopped apples, mix.
  4. Add the beaten egg with the milk.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls in greased muffin pans.
  6. Place one slice of apple on each muffin.
  7. Top with 2T sugar mixed with cinnamon.
  8. Bake at 400 degrees about 20 minutes.
