Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook and stir onions, carrots and garlic in hot oil in large skillet over medium heat until tender but not browned.
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar and seasonings.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat ad simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Place sauce in food processor or blender and process until smooth.
  5. Stir in cheese.
  6. Serve sauce over hot cooked pasta.
