Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Drain the cherries, saving the juice for the icing.
  2. Coarsely chop the cherries and set aside.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and butter in large saucepan; remove from heat.
  4. Stir in flour, vanilla, baking powder, eggs and salt.
  5. Stir in chocolate chunks and chopped cherries.
  6. Spread into a 9x13 baking pan and bake about 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.
  7. For icing, combine reserved cherry juice, icing sugar, and butter. Mix to form a glaze then ice brownies with this or drizzle decoratively.
