Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 5 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cold water

Directions:

  1. In a 2-cup glass measure, combine cornstarch, sugar, salt and cold water.
  2. Microwave on high 2-3 min.
  3. Or until syrup is clear and thickened, stirring every minute during cooking.
  4. Stir in maple flavoring.
  5. Cool.
  6. Refrigerate tightly covered.
