Ingredients:

  • cake :125g butter
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla ess
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powd
  • 1 and a 1/4 tblspn cocoa
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1 and 1/4 cup coconut

Directions:

  1. Cake:beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy
  2. Add yolks and ess
  3. Add dry ingred and milk
  4. Filling:beat egg whites till stiff
  5. Add icing sugar and coconut
  6. Pour 2/3 of cake batter into greased tin
  7. Add coconut filling
  8. Top with remaining batter
  9. Bake at 180 degrees
  10. Cool and ice with chocolate icing or dust with icing sugar
