Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Beat all ingredients together, adding 2 cups boiling water.
  2. Cook over a double boiler until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  3. Note: Save the whites for the mirange.
