Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tsp softened butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 to 2 drops green food coloring

Directions:

  1. Line a 9 in sq pan with foil, bring foil up sides and over a bit. grease.
  2. In heavy pan, melt choc chips and 1 C milk over low heat.
  3. Cook, stirring for 5 min till smooth .take off heat.
  4. Add vanilla stir 3-4 min till creamy
  5. Spread 1/2 mixture into pan. refrigerate 10 min till firm
  6. In another pan, melt vanilla chips and rest of milk,
  7. Cook, stirring for 5-6 min till smooth. it will be thick.
  8. Remove from heat, and stir in peppermint extract and food coloring
  9. Stir 3-4 min
  10. Spread evenly over chocolate layer
  11. Refridgerate 10 min till firm
  12. Heat reserved chocolate till you can spread it. spread over green layer
  13. Cover and refridgerate overnite.
  14. Using foil to lift out of pan. cut in squares. keep refridgerated.
