Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Warm ghee in a heavy pan.
  2. Now add wheat germ.
  3. Stir and cook till germ is golden in colour and aroma exudes.
  4. Meanwhile melt sugar or jaggery in 1 cup water.
  5. Keep aside.
  6. Boil and add remaining water to roasted wheat germ.
  7. Stir gently now, and cook till the grain of the germ is soft on pressing.
  8. Add sugar or jaggery, add cardamom and chopped nuts.
  9. Stir and simmer covered, stirring occasionally.
  10. Cook till ghee separates along the sides.
  11. Serve hot.
  12. Freeze and thaw as required.
  13. Before serving, take in pan, sprinkle some hot water. Heat while stirring, till ghee again separates.
