Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Micowave butter until soft but not melted.
  2. Beat butter and sugar thoroughly.
  3. Add egg yolks and beat further.
  4. In a seperate bowl mix Cognac and baking powder together.
  5. Add to butter and sugar mixture and stir together.
  6. Add flour to the mixture.
  7. Dough should be soft.
  8. Roll dough into a tube approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
  9. Cut into even slices approximately 1 inches wide.
  10. Place on a cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.
  11. Push a small indent with your finger in each cookie.
  12. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min.
  13. When cookies cool but are still warm sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  14. *Do not let cookie cool all the way or powdered sugar will not stick.
