Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. 1st thaw the shrimp in cold water.
  2. Brine the shrimp:.
  3. Boil the water and sugar and salt.
  4. Now add the ice and let in melt completely.
  5. Brine should be cold.
  6. Add shrimp for 20 minutes then rinse well under cold water.
  7. Cook the shrimp:.
  8. Boil the last 7 ingredients for 10 minutes.
  9. Now add the shrimp - cook for 3- 5 minutes, DO NOT OVER COOK!
  10. When shrimp are bright pink they are done.
  11. Quickly strain shrimp and add to ice bath for 10 minutes.
  12. Serve with lemon wedges and my creole shrimp sauce #433042.
