Indonesian Coconut Rice  Nasi Uduk

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup long grain rice
  • 5 daun salam( indian bayleaf)
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Clean rice thoroughly and drain,
  2. Steam the rice on steamer until they turn white
  3. And remove
  4. Heat a pot add all the ingredient including the steam rice ,shimmer until the liguid gone but keep stiring so it wont sticky
  5. Put the rice back to the steamer, for 15 min or until the rice is cooked done
  6. Serve with coconut chilli sauce, cucumber, sliced omelette, potato patties( perkedel) , padi oat chip , and fried shallot
  7. It may look dificult to make but it taste preety good
