Hot Molasses Cider

Ingredients:

  • 6 whole cloves
  • 2 slices lemons
  • 1 quart apple cider
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 1/4 inches cinnamon sticks
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Insert cloves into lemon slices.
  2. In a medium pan, bring lemon slices, apple cider, molasses and cinnamon stick to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Discard cinnamon stick -
  5. Stir in lemon juice.
  6. Serve immediately.
