Hot Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1 tbsp corn syrup
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Melt chocolate, butter, half-and-half, corn syrup and salt in a large heavy saucepan on low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth.
  2. When mixture is smooth, take off heat and let set for 10 minutes.
  3. Then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Serve hot over ice cream for hot fudge sundae.
  5. Add a few nuts on top if desired.
