Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 tsp butter or 4 tsp margarine, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • lemon slice (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a 2-cup measure stir together the brown sugar, butter or margarine, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Stir in the warm water.
  3. Microwave, uncovered, on 100% power for 3 to 4 minutes or until steaming hot.
  4. Stir in the rum.
  5. Serve in mugs.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
