Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 2-1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar.
  2. Beat in honey, egg and lemon zest.
  3. Combine flour, 1/4 cup wheat germ, baking powder and salt then gradually add to creamed mixture.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Roll dough into balls and roll in remaining wheat germ.
  6. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes then remove to wire racks to cool.
