Honey Buttermilk Biscuits Or Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 tsp yeast

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients in bread machine, liquids first, dry ingredients second, yeast last.
  2. Choose basic or white bread setting.
  3. For Rolls: Use the dough cycle, then knead again, adding some flour if the dough is sticky.
  4. Shape into rolls and allow to rise until doubled in bulk.
  5. Bake at 375° until lightly browned.
  6. You can use an egg wash and sprinkle with poppy, sesame, or caraway.seeds if you would like.
