Ingredients:

  • 6 cups bread flour
  • 2/3 cup dry milk
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil

Directions:

  1. Combine yeast and water, mix well and set aside.
  2. In a very large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add Oil and Yeast mixture.
  5. Mix well with hands or in mixer with dough hook.
  6. Work dough til smooth.
  7. Let rise for about 45 minutes.
  8. Knead for 5-10 minute.
  9. Repeat previous step.
  10. Prepare baking pans.
  11. Spray or lighty oil.
  12. Makes 2 loaves or 12 large dinner rolls, or use dough to make 12 large cinnamon rolls.
  13. Place prepared dough into appropriate pans and let raise 30-45 minutes before baking.
  14. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 40 minutes or til done.
  15. Bread will be a medium brown.
  16. Brush with melted butter when done (optional).
