Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo mince meat
  • 3 tbsp spns mint sauce/paste
  • 1 tea spn dryed methi leaves (fenugreek leaves)
  • 1/2 tea spn mustard powder
  • 1 tea spn salt
  • 1/2 tea spn garam masala mix
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1/4 tea spn paprika
  • 1 tbsp spn lemon juice
  • you will need iron rods or bamboo skrewers/sticks

Directions:

  1. 1. Mix all ingredients with mince meat.
  2. 2. Make into egg sized balls. approx 12/14
  3. 3.wet rod/sticks
  4. 4. Make into long thin sasuges around the sticks/rods leaving 1 to 2 cms at both ends.
  5. 5. Place in grill/BBQ for about 6 mins each side on high gas mark. Until dark golden brown.
  6. P.S. If you have problems with seekhs not staying on the rods then add some more flour, about 2 tbl spns.
  7. Serve hot with mint chatni >> 1cup youghurt with 2 tbl spns mint sauce/paste and abit of finely chopped coriander.
