Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 2 cups raisins

Directions:

  1. Cream together butter, brown sugar and eggs.
  2. Mix in remaining ingredients.
  3. Form dough into a log and bake on a greased cookie sheet in 400* oven for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Slice with a pizza cutter while still warm, into 2” sections.
