Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except the garbanzo beans in a dutch oven.
  2. Bring to boil.
  3. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Stir in the undrained garbanza beans.
  5. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes more.
  6. Add more water if needed.
