Ingredients:

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter and brown sugar. Add the apples, raisins and pecans. Cook and stir over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes or until apples are tender; keep warm.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, cream and butter; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  3. Bake in preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown. Serve with apple topping and maple syrup. Yield: 5 waffles (about 7-1/2 inches each).
